Are you interested in being mentored in Producing, Sound Design or Set and Costume Design by an industry professional?

SPID have a brilliant opportunity for a few young people to work alongside our industry professionals in the build up to our next production! Come and be mentored in one of three creative disciplines: Producing, Sound Design or Set and Costume Design.

You will work closely alongside your Mentor as we prepare for the final show of the Trellick Tales project and will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn new skills and gain an insight into the industry.

No prior experience is needed but you must have a hardworking and committed attitude.  You will have the chance to meet and work with other young people on the production and this will be an excellent addition to your CV.

  • You must be available for all three mentoring dates above
  • There may also be the opportunity to help out and take part in the show so please make sure you are also free for that day
  • There are two placements available per specialism
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Expenses towards food and travel will be available

SPID has been awarded funding from the Clore Duffield Foundation to deliver Trellick Tales; a year-long project including site-specific performances developed in and around North West London council estate Trellick Tower.

In this final block of the project the young people will form their own theatre company, and develop a multi-media exhibition featuring immersive performance. This will take place on the estate and will feature materials collected and created in the project. Participants will have the opportunity to attend workshops with the V&A to guide this process.
